My name is Monica Lara. I am married and have three children: Fatima (22), Isabella (13), and Sophia (11).
I began working at McDonald’s on May 1, 2001. Initially, I started as a crew member making fries, cleaning the lobby, and learning all the basics. Over time, I progressed through various roles within the company, eventually becoming a Manager in 2003. During this time period, I acquired knowledge of PM equipment tasks, scheduling, truck orders, and inventory.
After learning each role of Shift Manager, Department Manager, Second and First Assistant General Manager, I was appointed as General Manager in 2018. I poured all my effort into that restaurant and was awarded the Outstanding General Manager award in 2023. Shortly after that, I became a Supervisor for 4 restaurants.
I am passionate about my work and enjoy interacting with people, both in front of the counter and behind the counter. I firmly believe in the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and creating consistency to achieve team goals.
